Plan Your Travel to Advanced Medical Interpreting - Things You Need to Know
This exclusive two-day workshop is a unique opportunity for advanced medical interpreters. Attending all four sessions is required to be eligible for RID PS 1.6 CEUs. Please note that this is an on-site learning experience only. Unfortunately, no virtual instruction will be available for remote participants, and no partial CEUs will be awarded.
Advanced Medical Interpreting Four Sessions:
- The Process (4 hours): Are They Really Letting Me Do This Unsupervised?
- The Science (4 hours): Danger! Danger! Don't Get Any On Ya!
- The Mechanics (4 hours): Can I buy A Vowel?
- The Switcharoo (4 hours): Things Just Got Complicated…

Saturday, August 3, 2024 | 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (Saturday lunch on your own and one-hour lunch break)
Sunday, August 4, 2024, | 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (Sunday with 1-hour working lunch - please bring your lunch on Sunday!)

We understand that finding accommodations can be a challenge. While we don't have hotel blocks, you can find various options in the Jacksonville area near the University of North Florida.

RID CEUs
Hallenross & Associates, LLC, is an Approved RID CMP Sponsor for continuing education activities. This RID Professional Studies program offers 1.6 CEUs at the Some knowledge level. This workshop will be conducted in English.
Accommodations
All requests for accommodations must be received by Friday, July 19, 2024, with a copy of your registration and payment for the workshop at Training@aqiservices.com.
Target Audience: All levels of ASL interpreters, including CDIs/DIs and ITP students.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
The last day of the Refund is on or before Friday, July 19, 2024. No refunds on or after July 20, 2024. Please, no exceptions!
